Anupamaa: Gautam's shocking announcement gives Prarthana the unwanted spotlight (Today Episode)

Anupamaa’s upcoming story will revolve around the wedding processions of Aryan and Mahi with family drama always getting in the way of happiness for Anupama. A new drama unleashes at the sangeet and mehendi function with Gautam causing a scene after he discovers Prarthana’s intentions for their marriage.

Gautam is very happy as he is getting the chance to go to London alone with Prarthana which will give him the perfect opportunity to teach her a lesson for the chaos she created in front of all the family members. However, Prarthana is not ready to go to London at any cost as she knows how Gautam will treat her if her family is not around them.

After gathering a lot of courage, Prarthana goes to the lawyer and decides to file for a divorce so that she can get free from Gautam and live her life without any fear. Anupama supports Prarthana by giving her moral support, as Prarthana has no one to rely on in her own house.

However, all the family members halt their joyful dancing as Gautam erupts with anger in the middle of the function. Gautam takes out the divorce notice and asks Prarthana how she can do something like that to him after all the years he has loved and cared for her.

Will Prathna be able to convince her family of the divorce?

Gautam and Prathana’s divorce drama spices up the festive day with Parag and Vasundhara deciding to confront Prarthana for her big decision. Anupama gives Prathana the courage to voice her words after which Prathana confesses that she had no other choice in her life.

Prarthana talks about how everyone in her own family is supporting Gautam over their own daughter, which made her take this legal step without consulting anyone. Parag and Vasundhara’s expressions change when Prarthana says that she prefers to take her life over living with a man who abuses and beats her up regularly.

Will Prarthana’s confession stir the emotions of Parag and Vasundhara? Will Gautam again flip the situation in his favour so that the divorce does not proceed?
