Brahmastra: Deepika Padukone and SRK to make a cameo in the Ranbir Alia starrer?

Brahmastra is one of the most awaited Bollywood movies of the year.

The release date of the movie was also delayed multiple times.

Titled Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva, the first film in the planned fantasy trilogy will be released on September 9.

Now the latest reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor is set to reunite with one of his previous female co-stars, who will play an important role in the movie.

The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in key roles.

Now, the latest report by Bollywood Life suggests that the makers have roped in Deepika Padukone.

A source close to the Brahmastra reveals that Deepika Padukone will make a cameo at the end of the film or during the mid-credits scene.

Her role is also said to have a strong connection with part 2.

Shah Rukh Khan to be seen in a cameo role

In an earlier conversation with Variety, Ranbir spoke about the film and said, “Brahmastra is deep-rooted in Indian culture, and we had the opportunity to create our own Marvel, which Ayan is trying to do with his Astraverse. Any film, any good compelling story, made in your culture, in an authentic way, in a true form, will connect to a large audience.”

The movie is set to release on September 9, 2022, and it will release in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Apart from Deepika Padukone, the film will also reportedly see Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role.

It is rumored that the second installment of the series will focus on Deepika’s superpowered character. Shah Rukh’s involvement in the first film has long been rumored.

Ayan told The Times of India that they will ‘plan the shooting of the second and third parts’ after the release of Brahmastra in September. He said that the trilogy ‘will tell the same story but each new film ‘will introduce new characters and bring new perspectives to the overarching narrative.
