YRKKH Latest Gossip: Mohit Parmar and Garvita Sadhwani decide to quit the show because of their characters decreased screentime
Star Plus’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will have many changes in the story with the upcoming 6-year leap in the show. New characters are joining the cast, along with the news that the old cast is deciding to leave the show after the new track starts.
The actors themselves have confirmed that Ruhi and Abhir will both exit the show after the leap. Garvita Sadhwani and Mohit Parmar play the roles of Ruhi and Abhir, who are included in generation 4 of the YRKKH story.
However, Ruhi’s character has been getting decreased screen time in the recent episodes after the track of Pookie started in the show. Earlier, Ruhi got the limelight because of the surrogacy drama but as of now, nothing is planned for her character which has led the actress to take this decision.
Garvita Sadhwani has commented that she has made her decision to quit based on purely creative reasons, and she has promised to return with a better and new story for the audience. Mohit Parmar aka Abhir will also leave the show for the same reason, as the storyline will only focus on Abhira and Armaan as main characters.
Abhir and Ruhi to end up dying together to end their characters in the show?
Fans are sad to see Ruhi leave the show, which means that her character will end up dying on-screen, leaving another sister’s death in the plot with this generation. Like Arohi, Ruhi will also end up dying young and leave her son Daksh, who will be growing up without his parents.
Abhir’s future story is still not fixed, but it does not seem that he and Charu are going to get their happy ending. Some rumours have reported that Ruhi will be the one who will get Abhir and Charu married as a witness, which will be interesting to see as a viewer. Let’s hope the best for the actors as they prepare to return on-screen with another good project to work on.
