Actress Alisha Parveen's sudden exit from Anupama sparks new controversy

Star Plus one of the most watched prime time Hindi TV serial Anupama has recently been in buzz because of the overnight replacement of the lead actress Alisha Parveen by Imlie fame actress Adrija Roy.

The show recently witnessed the generation leap whereafter actor Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen joined the show as the lead couple Prem and Raahi. The story was doing quite fun and has been gathering a good TRP ratings but overnight the makers of the show replaced the actress Alisha Parveen and without starting any reason as the actress revealed in her Social Media Post.

However, now when Adrija Roy has started shooting for the show, here when asked about the reason behind Alisha Parveen's exit from Alisha, she revealed that that 'He (Rajan Shahi) just gave me the reason that there is a problem with your performance. I don't know why he said performance is an issue because my directors have always praised me. Even when it comes to performance, whenever I read about my performance on social media, I get interactions, and everyone has always said good things and praised me. There can't be anyone better than the directors to tell me, but this is what I've been given the reason- 'performance'.

While Rajan Shahi has recently did the same in his popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai wherein he overnight replaced male and female leads of the show, his another such step in Anupama show has once again put him into a tight spot.

Let's see how this major replacement will now affect the show. Will this be his good decision or this will bring new trouble is worth watching next. At the same time, the upcoming story is now going to see a grand Christmas Celebration wherein Prem and Raahi's romantic dance sequence will be seen and this is planned by the makers to introduce new Raahi in the show.
