In Shakti there are many instances whereon Preeto (Kanya Punjabi) shows her actual colors post Harman's (Vivian Dsena) exit.
Preeto accepts Soumya and Adi in front of Harman with sweet words.
Post the family union Preeto than sends Harman out of town for some urgent business work.
This makes Soumya alone in the house with Adi under Preeto's survillence.

Preeto than makes a very big move of her life by kidnapping Adi and giving him to some servant to raise up.
Than Preeto behaves very nicely with Soumya and starts searching for Adi in the entire house.
