Pehredaar Piya Ki: Smriti Irani forward issue to Broadcasting Content Complaints Council to Ban show
Sony Entertainment Televisions prime time show Pehredaar Piya Ki featuring Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar might go off-air.
From the very beginning itself, Pehredaar Piya Ki got mixed reviews where some of them appreciated the show and some disliked the show due the age difference amid the lead pair.
Petition against the show was files where finally Smriti Irani has taken forward the issue to Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCCC).

Earlier, too many Television actors spoke against the serial where young boy proposing and elder girl.
Apart from love proposal, Suhaagraat and now honeymoon is also taking a toll on viewers.
Even Ratan filling Diya's hairline was not accepted by loyal viewers.
There are viewers who shared on social media about horrifying epidemic of male child abuse asking for banning the serial.
