Roop Mard Ka Naya Swaroop: Roop (Afaan Khan) gives new vision of manliness to Shamsher (Yash Tonk) 

Colors has launched its all new show Roop Mard Ka Naya Swaroop which seems to be a perfect depiction of gender inequality.

The show focuses on the gender inequality which is still prevalent in the 21st century and how our claims of equal opportunity for women crashes in everyday life.

Roop is a present day boy who loves to do household chores and help his sister's and mothers, Roop enjoys knitting and other works which are gender stereotyped.

Roop and Shamsher's different idealogies

Roop couldn't understand why these gender roles exists in the society, while his father Shamsher Singh is a hard core follower of these stereotypes.

Roop tries to hide his non-masculine interests from his father and will now head to show new way of vision to his father.
