Although some makers are having shot episodes, most broadcasters are going to repeat episodes while the launches of new shows are postponed.
Talking about the high alert in India and Government ordered to stop film and TV serials shooting, JD Majethia revealed that the situation is critical and they are not sure of what is waiting for them tomorrow.
However some shows might benefit out of repeat episodes and might get audience that they didn’t had earlier, audience will have an opportunity to give new shows a chance and might start following them.
Some shows are going to lose the viewers while some are going to have a big benefit as the viewers will have full time to taste all the genres and switch to other channels.
The current situation is going on with lot of ifs and buts and the TV industry is facing a challenge at this critical stage.
JD Majethia revealed about how the next two weeks are going to cause minimum 100 crores huge loss to TV industry where the top TV shows shooting is shutdown over safety purpose of the people.
In the meantime, after the first death in Mumbai due to Coronavirus, the producers, directors and makers have decided to keep the safety and humanity over the business.
At the same time the top TV popular shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, Beyhadh 2, Yeh Hai Chahatein, and Kumkum Bhagya, Naagin 4 shooting is in a big dilemma.
Although they are having bank of episodes to telecast, but let’s see how far they can cope up with the current crucial time.
