Kushal Tandon reveals reason behind staying away from TV for 5 years
Kushal Tandon is currently seen doing Sony TV show Barsaatein with Shivangi Joshi.
The recently in an interview revealed the reason behind taking a break of five years from the Television Industry.
He said, “I had to work very hard. Yes, I am returning to television after 5 years. But this does not mean that I had quit television. I did not plan on taking this break. Had I been offered a good story, I would have definitely done it. I did a web series called 'Hum' and 'Bebaakee' and post that I was busy with the restaurant I launched. After this, Covid happened. Then, I suffered from a back injury due to which I was on bed rest.”
Kushal went to Thailand
He added, “Because of the bed rest, I gained a lot of weight and I weighed somewhere around 115 Kgs. I went to Thailand then and learnt martial arts and boxing. I got fit over there and came back, the process however is still on.''
He further talked about his struggle to shed the extra kilos he put on during his injury.
