Karthik (Mohsin Khan) brain washes Naira (Shivangi Joshi) completely to change name to Sumedha in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
In the upcoming episode there will be lots of high voltage dramatic situations seen amid Karthik and Naira in the daily soap.
It was Karthik’s dadi’s wish to change Naira’s name to Sumedha as Naira’s name does not have any meaning to it.
Now, it was very much clear that Karthik too wanted Naira to change her name before marriage.
Naira had opposed this as Naira’s name had been driven from Akshara and Naitik.
Naira agrees to Kathik’s demand

Karthik just imposes his demand on Naira and makes her realize that all this is happening for their own good.
