KL Rahul has achieved a significant milestone in his cricketing career by becoming the fastest batsman to reach 5000 runs in IPL.
Delhi Capitals got its victory against Lucknow Super Giants in match 40 of IPL 2025, with KL Rahul making his glorious half century in the match.
The Indian batsman achieved his 5000 IPL runs in just 135 innings which has proven to be the fastest.
KL Rahul has now joined the elite list of cricketers like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, AB De Villiers, MS Dhoni, etc.
KL Rahul surpassed iconic players like Chris Gayle and Robin Uthappa by achieving this record with his outstanding capabilities.
As Delhi Capitals chased a total of 160 made by Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul's 51st run broke his record in this respective sphere.
KL Rahul has now became the eighth batter in the whole world to cross the grand line of 5000 runs in IPL.
During his 139th match of IPL, KL Rahul achieved this amazing record while having forty half centuries and four centuries in his whole IPL career.
KL Rahul started his IPL journey with RCB in 2013 after which he continued to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, and Lucknow Super Giants.
