About Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Season 2
The iconic Virani family returned to television screens with a historic reboot of the landmark Hindi soap opera, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Produced by Balaji Telefilms and Ekta Kapoor, the second season premiered on 29 July 2025 at 10:30 PM on Star Plus. This new chapter continues the legendary saga originally famous for its emotional depth and family drama, which initially ran for over 1,830 episodes and earned a spot in the Limca Book of Records.
Fans were thrilled by the comeback of the original leads, Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay, reprising their legendary roles as Tulsi and Mihir Virani. The reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (KSBKBT) also features returning favorites and veteran actors:

Plot Highlights (April 2026)
As of April 2026, the drama at Shanti Niketan has reached a high-stakes point following a major six-year time leap introduced in late 2025.
Tulsi’s Strategic Gambit. After living away from Mumbai, Tulsi has returned to protect her children. In a shocking twist, she agreed to perform the Ghatbandhan ritual for Mihir and Noina.
Noina has claimed she is terminally ill with blood cancer, using her last wish to marry Mihir. However, Tulsi is secretly planning to expose Noina, suspecting she is faking the illness to secure her place in the family.
Amid the younger generation, Angad and Vrinda’s relationship is under scrutiny as Bharti (Swati Sharma) suspects hidden secrets. Meanwhile, Hrithik has found solace in Munni following his separation from Mitali.
