India Lockdown: UP CM Yogi Adityanath calls Police Response Vans (PRV) 112 to supply essentials to homes
India Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced strict lockdown in India for 21 days that is till 14 April.
Just after the India lockdown announcement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a strong appeal to people to stay inside home and be safe.
Yogi Adityanath announced the Police Response Van (PRV) service to fulfill the demands for essential items.
Yogi Adityanath requested people to not leave their homes but rather inform PRV who are ready to assist the people.
India fights Coronavirus COVID-19
For the smooth operation of 4,500 PRVs in the state, CM Adityanath sanctioned Rs. 32.5 crore which included Rs. 9.5 crore for safety equipments like masks, gloves, medicines etc. for the personal and another Rs. 22 crore for diesel, petrol and technology-related expenditure.
