Rajasthan Royals Captain Sanju Samson gets fined for slow over-rate
Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson has been fined Rs 12 Lakh for maintaining a slow over-rate during their two-run win over Punjab Kings in the IPL match in Dubai.
Rajasthan Royals won the match with an incredible two-run victory over Punjab Kings.
“Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate during their VIVO Indian Premier League 2021 match against Punjab Kings at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai on September 21,” the IPL said in a statement.
Samson gets fined for Rs 12 Lakh
“As it was his team’s first offense of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to a minimum over-rate offenses, Mr. Samson was fined Rs 12 lakh,” the statement added.
Sunil Gavaskar stated that Samson needs to work on his shot selection if he wants to be a regular player for India.
RR will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
