India's Got Latent Controversy Latest News: Samay Raina and Ashish Chanchlani show up for the investigation

With the recent controversy of India’s Got Latent still in hot flames on social media, Ranveer Allahbadia has been accused of non-cooperation by the Maharashtra cyber cell.

Comedians Samay Raina and Ashish Chanchlani showed up for the investigation proceedings conducted, while Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija did not show up after being summoned by the Cyber police.

The whole Indian media was taken by storm recently with a clip going viral from an online comedy show series called “India’s Got Latent”.

Samay Raina, who is the main creator of this show and one of the main panelists in the episodes, was forced to delete all the episodes of the series after the viral controversy caused an outrage.

A joke said by Beerbiceps, aka Ranveer Allahbadia, in one of the episodes of India’s Got Latent involved some sexual connotations and went viral on social media.

Many Indians were furious on hearing the joke as it goes against the traditional Indian culture, labeling the whole statement as “anti-Indian”.

However, many people came out with their opinions to support the comedians as the content of the viral video was only said as a joke and was not meant to hurt anyone’s sentiments.

The social media got divided due to debates for and against this whole controversy, while all the comedians present in that episode put out an official apology for the public.

Ranveer Allahbadia posted an apology video with tears, after which he left the country to go abroad.

The police are planning to take further legal action against Ranveer for his absence during the summoning of the prime figures involved in the case.

Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid, recently posted an Instagram post and YouTube video sharing her experience of receiving threats and malicious comments from everywhere.
