Box Cricket League Ekta Kapoor's new sports reality show between Indian Celebrity starts from 1st December 2014

Box Cricket League is an Indian celebrity’s cricket match. Ekta Kapoor is the owner of ‘Box Cricket League’. Sunny Arora will be the co-owner of this league. League participants are the both male and female television actors will play cricket match together.

Ekta Kapoor has signed up to 150 television stars for 8 teams. The league is produced by Balaje telifilms and marinating films. This League is being soon in air 1st December 2014 and live telecast on Sony Entertainment Television (India).

The sports reality show on television, which will see over 150 television stars battle it out in a game of indoor box cricket. Ekta Kapoor Has added her special twist to the show that will feature celebrities and a whole lot of drama.

For a country that loves cricket and tries every mean possible to play it where ever and whenever. This is going to be a new twist for the cricket and entertainment lovers at a same platform.

This game that is the first of its kind has the rule of cricket to ensure each team has female stars playing along with the male stars.

In an interview Ekta Kapoor asked, to combining cricket with an entertainment she said ‘The biggest combination is that cricket is seen for entertainment and played for entertainment, and when women join cricket it is entertainment, entertainment and only entertainment’.

This league seems that aims at reinventing the reality entertainment genre of television.

The show will reportedly have a combination of on-ground and behind the scene locker-room drama and will see 8 teams compete for the title.
