Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2016 top 12 contestants final list, finalists (Audition)

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2016 top 12 contestants, finalists selected by Mika Singh, Sajid Kahn Wajid Khan and Pritam Chakraborty

After months of auditions, the four judges of the current season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa along with 30 jury members have finalized the top 12 contestants who will be competing with each other for the trophy.

Below is the list of contestants who have been selected:

1) Abhigyan Das: He is 19 years old and comes from Assam. Hid dream is to become a singer as well as a music director

2) Ashmita Kar: She is one of the youngest contestants being juts 17 years of age. Ashmita is from Kolkatta and wants to become a professional singer

3) Harjot Kaur: She has been renamed as the Sunidhi Chauhan of Sa re Ga Ma Pa. She is 18 years old and hails from Delhi. Harjot wants to learn western music and has got her training form her father.

4) Hashmat: This singer has a power packed voice and wishes to learn Quwwali from Ustad Shouqat Ali

5)Jagpreet Bajwa: The visually impaired singer lost his vision at 6 months of age but became a musical sensation by the time he was 6 years old. Jagpreet can sing western as well as Indian classical and hails from Canada

6) Jyotica Tangree: Jyotica is originally from Punjab but has shifted base to Mumbai. She is good with contemporary music as well as India classical

7) Kushal Paul: he has started his career in playback singing at the age of 17 years and he is also a musician

8) Rupali Jagga: she can sing music from different genres and instantly captivates judges with her voice

9) Zuber Hashmi: Zuber can sing diverse forms like Bollywood, folk, Thumri Dadra, Ghazal etc

10)Sachin Kumar Valmikan: He is a music teacher by profession and comes from Uttar Pradesh. Sachin captivated judges with his mesmerizing voice

11) Sanjuti Das: She is 18 years old from, Kolkata and is trained in Indian classical music

12) Sultana: She is trained in Sufi Music and also wants to learn Rock Music

13) Tanvir Mussain: 25 year old Tanvir is from Punjab and is a Quwwali singer
