About Seher Hone Ko Hai
Seher Hone Ko Hai is an Indian drama series that premiered on 2 December 2025 on Colors TV. The show is produced by Richa Yamini under the banners Icecream Dreams and Aarambh Entertainment. It stars Rishita Kothari and Parth Samthaan in lead roles.
Plot Overview
Set against the backdrop of Lucknow, the story follows Seher, a young woman who dreams of becoming a doctor to fulfill her mother Kausar’s wishes. However, her father Parvez, who mistreats both Seher and Kausar, strongly opposes her aspirations. The family relocates to Lucknow, where they live with Parvez’s second wife, Safia.
Meanwhile, Mahid, the grandson of Osman Niyazi, struggles with anger issues stemming from childhood trauma related to his late mother. The Niyazi family is known for their strict religious beliefs. On the advice of a police officer, Osman instructs Mahid to seek treatment from Dr. Fareed Quadri. However, Osman has another plan—he wishes to marry Mahid to Seher and presents the proposal to Parvez.
