Kumkum Bhagya Latest News: Preeta (Shraddha Arya) from Kundali Bhagya to enter the story soon
Shraddha Arya, known for her iconic role of Preeta in the long-running series Kundali Bhagya, is all set to make her comeback to television as Preeta.
The actress left her role as Preeta after playing it for seven years, after which Kundali Bhagya suddenly went off-air in December 2024.
Shraddha Arya took a break from her acting career due to her maternity leave as she was pregnant during the shoot of the show.
The actress embraced motherhood and gave birth to twins named Shaurya and Siya on 29 November 2024.
Now, with complete recovery from the pregnancy, Shraddha Arya is all set to make her comeback in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya.
Shraddha confirmed to Zoom that she will be rejoining Ekta Kapoor’s ongoing show, Kumkum Bhagya, as Preeta once again.
Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya belong to the same universe but were aired as two different shows to depict different stories.
However, Shraddha’s re-entry in Kumkum Bhagya will intertwine the storylines of Kundali Bhagya with the current timeline of the show.
Shraddha Arya is well-loved by the fans as Preeta in Kundali Bhagya, which used to get very high TRPS.

Shraddha says that she is very excited to come back into acting, and there seems to be no better opportunity than being a part of the Bhagya franchise, where she started her journey.
The production has taken Shraddha’s return in a positive light and will be working on developing the story to reintroduce Preeta in the show.
This comeback can become a huge opportunity for Kumkum Bhagya to regain its popularity among viewers.
The current storyline of Kumkum Bhagya with Raunak and Prarthana as main leads is not succeeding in gaining good TRP.
