Star Plus show Imlie under scanner by Channel

 Gul Khan’s production Imlie on Star Plus is under the scanner due to low ratings. Any prime-time show on the numeral GEC channel that rates below two is considered unsafe.

Imlie not only rates 1.9 but also lost its top 5 slot to Pandya Store.

The makers have gotten a warning that if the number doesn’t improve, they might shift it to the early evening before pulling it off air.

Interestingly Imlie’s rating has stayed (averagely) within what Sumbul and Fahmaan were getting, yet the channel has issued a warning.

Should the channel not have shut the show with Fahmaan and Sumbul instead of going through a new casting process and then pulling the plug in an instant.

New jodis need two or three months to settle down, but TRP wars do not afford such luxuries.
