Emily in Paris explores this exciting journey of Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins), a young girl who loves her job and her city (Chicago), gets a chance to move to Paris for a year.

Not knowing the language and in a not very friendly work environment (at least in the beginning) she musters her over the top cheerful nature and crazy work ethics to survive.

Darren Star, creator of Sex and the city does not disappoint in giving us picturesque spots of Paris, big fashion moments, millennials Instagram addiction, delicious food, wine and men alike and a beautiful friendship bond between Mindy and Emily.

Chick Flick with A Modern-Day Twist

A ten episodes long series with only 20-30 minutes episodes might just leave you wanting for more if you are looking for a beautiful escape.

However, don’t go looking for a logical meaning in this show because there is none.

After a while this series seems nothing short of fairy-tale, with Emily hopping from one solution to another by getting crazy inspirations from literally anywhere.
