Emily in Paris episode 6 spoilers: Emily’s basic mistake gets her in trouble again

The trouble in Emily’s office life doesn’t seem to stop.

Savoir gets a huge offer to the market for famous couture designer Pierre Cadault.

As they are about to meet him, Sylvie advises Emily to keep mum in the meeting as she does not want to lose this important potential client.

The exact opposite of this happens when the designer after noticing Eiffel Tower bag charm on Emily declares it basic and touristy.

He refuses to work with them.

As a punishment, Sylvie removes Emily from working for a famous watch brand.

Frustrated Emily goes to a café for wine and meets a sexy French literature professor Thomas.

The two hit it off immediately and later hooks up in Emily’s apartment.

Camille after meeting them invites them on a double date with her and Gabriel.

Gabriel becomes Jealous of seeing them together but the main problem remains the snobbish nature of Emily’s French professor.

Gabriel tries to warn her but she does not take him seriously.

How will Emily get out of this mess?

Later Emily sees an advertisement of ballet where Pierre Cadualt has designed all clothes. She sees her opportunity and decides to track down Pierre for another chance.

She also invites Thomas to see the ballet.

Initially, he agrees but later declines when he realizes that ballet is Swan Lake which he believes is not for intellectual people.

Emily finally sees his snobbish nature and dumps him for good.

She goes to ballet alone and is successful in her plan to woo a famous designer by telling him that his brand is the dream of all the basic girls and these are the customers he requires.

He agrees to give her another chance and also demands that Emily works personally for his brand.

A little of Mindy’s story is also shown in the episode.

Mindy tells Emily that she aspired to be a famous singer but has stopped singing after she choked in front of millions of people in a reality show.

Emily encourages her to give herself another chance. She even forces her to sing La Vie en Rose in the garden.

Mindy’s beautiful singing woos many passersby, giving Mindy back the courage she requires to sing.
