Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is entertaining its viewers with the ongoing drama between the Goenka and Poddar families, which is leading to a major conflict between Armaan and Abhira. Armaan and Abhira are constantly fighting with each other about family matters, which is creating distance between them as future parents.

Armaan has been showing an angry and possessive side for Pookie as he threatens to burn the house down if his baby gets hurt in any way. Abhira first argues with Armaan about his behaviour, but then comes to realise how Armaan is struggling to keep his anxiety in check for the birth of his second baby.

Abhira will try to make up with Armaan as she decides to become more understanding toward him during this period of waiting before Pookie arrives. Armaan is only focused on Pookie’s well-being and is arguing with Abhira as he thinks that she does not care about Pookie as much as he does.

After Ruhi asks them to reconcile, Armaan and Abhira confront each other and decide to end their fight over family issues as they both want good to happen for their baby. Armaan asks Abhira to make a promise with him, but Abhira’s shocking decision leaves Armaan disappointed.

Armaan doubts Abhira's love for Pookie

Armaan asks Abhira not to care about other family matters and only focus on Pookie, as others can figure out what they should do about the ongoing tensions rising. However, Abhira blatantly tells Armaan that she cannot make such a promise, as she needs to think about others, too.

Abhira’s decision will backfire on her as Armaan will confirm that Abhira’s first priority is not Pookie anymore. Armaan feels disappointed seeing Abhira not being able to sideline others for the sake of their upcoming baby, making way for future conflicts.
