Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan gets upset as Maira hides a big secret from him (Today Episode)

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s new storyline has been separated into two divisions as Abhira and Armaan are living their own lives after their painful separation. Abhira is struggling to make a living with Kaveri and Vidya while Armaan is now settled in a new city with Maira as his only daughter.

Armaan has not changed his irrational behaviour even after seven years have passed, and still continues to act obsessively and controlling at times when the matter involves his daughter. Armaan only trusts Gitanjali with Maira’s responsibility even though he never gave Abhira the chance to bond with her own daughter.

Recently, Maira runs away from her school which leaves Armaan in distress, making him leave his RJ shift in the middle. Armaan notices something off with Maira’s behaviour and wonders what his daughter is hiding from him.

Armaan and Gitanjali try to talk to Maira so that they can know why Maira is so upset, as she does not appear excited or cheerful as always. The next day, Armaan is forced to go to work while leaving Maira in her spoiled mood which continues to make him restless.

Armaan feels like a failure with Gitanjali's achievement

Gitanjali calls him to inform that Maira has shared her secret with her which turned out not to be such a big thing, making Armaan feel upset. Armaan feels betrayed as he could not know about his daughter’s real feelings, while Gitanjali became the person with whom Maira decided to share her secret.

Will Armaan start to feel jealous of Gitanjali with Maira depending on her even more than before? Or will this closeness make Armaan realise how he can allow Gitanjali into his little world revolving around Maira?
