Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is moving very slowly with its post-leap storyline focusing on Abhira and Armaan’s separate lives after 7 years. Viewers are expecting the viewership to decrease this week amid which a new twist might ignite interest among the fans.

Abhira has been searching for Pookie for seven years without a break, as she still believes that Pookie has been lost and is alive somewhere, without her parents by her side. However, in reality, it has been revealed that Armaan was the one who got Pookie back in the past and decided to hide the truth from everyone, after which he ran away with the baby.

With such a big betrayal staying hidden from Abhira, she has been searching many cities and orphanages in the hope of finding Pookie somewhere, after which she can reunite with Armaan without any regrets. The guilt of losing her daughter, which Armaan has enforced, has been eating away at Abhira these past years, making her a panic-stricken person.

Abhira carries on her search for Pookie in Mount Abu too, where she meets many little girls at orphanages and charity centres in hopes of meeting her daughter once. Abhira actually meets with her daughter Maira, but thinks of her as a regular child who wants a gift for her mother.

Abhira gets a glimpse of her new helper in the case

After returning to her home, Abhira has been depressed after she realises how lonely she is in her life. However, Abhira will get a new spark of hope in her life with an unexpected helper arriving with new evidence related to Pookie. 

Abhira gets a call from the police station, where the inspector informs her about a new clue in Pookie’s missing case. Abhira comes rushing and finds Pookie’s gold chain in a packet, which has been brought by a man whom she gets introduced to by the inspector.

Who is this new helper in Abhira’s life making his entry? Is this the new character played by Rahul Sharma or just a random stand-in to act as a witness?
