Star Plus’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to keep audiences hooked with fresh twists as Abhira navigates her new role as a mother.

Abhira is doing everything she can to win her daughter Maira’s acceptance, but things aren’t the same anymore. Although Maira is currently living with her, she still sees Gitanjali as her mother and refers to Abhira affectionately as her “cute aunty.”

Gitanjali has set a one-month deadline for Abhira to prove her love and bond with Maira, after which Maira will decide who she truly wants to stay with.

Accepting the challenge, Abhira moves into the Goenka mansion with Maira, living separately from Armaan and Gitanjali. Armaan, however, is far from pleased with Gitanjali’s manipulative plan, knowing it will hurt Abhira even more. Determined to help her, he continues to offer his silent support.

Tensions rise when Maira chooses Gitanjali as her dance partner for a parent-child competition, leaving Abhira heartbroken. Stepping in, Armaan suggests to Maira that she give Abhira at least one chance to perform with her.

Maira's competition turns one-sided with Abhira's sacrifice

Maira then decides to make things interesting by organizing a dance face-off between Gitanjali and Abhira.

Abhira begins rehearsing with Armaan’s help, taking his advice on what Maira enjoys so she can win her daughter’s heart. The competition day arrives, and the two women face each other in the much-awaited dance battle.

In the middle of her performance, Abhira notices Armaan nearby, wincing in pain and clutching his ankle. He’s standing dangerously close to an electrical board that is sparking due to a short circuit.

While Armaan remains unaware of the danger, Abhira immediately spots the threat, her concern for him momentarily overshadowing the competition.

The moment sets the stage for yet another emotional turn in their journey, blending family drama, personal challenges, and a mother’s fight for love.

Will Abhira be able to make her place in Maira's heart as her real mother after this incident? Will Maira decide to give Abhira a chance even after she messed up her performance?
