Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan (Rohit Purohit) decides to throw Gitanjali out of his and Maira’s life after discovering her cheap tricks

Star Plus’s show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set to introduce some new story developments in the show, with Abhira and Armaan’s rekindling storyline unfolding in the current episodes.

Abhira is sad and hurt after she has found out about Armaan’s big betrayal, which snatched away her daughter from her life for seven long years.

Armaan has now returned with a helping hand and wants Abhira to reunite with their daughter Maira who has begun a new chapter in their lives.

However, Maira only considers Gitanjali her mother which is posing as a big problem for Abhira with her efforts to win Maira's heart as her mother.

Gitanjali plays a dirty game with her commanding Maira to lock Abhira inside her room which will give her the chance to dance with Maira on the stage.

Armaan breaks off his engagement with Gitanjali, big twist in the story

Abhira gets injured while trying to climb down from the window after which Armaan comes to know about the entire thing from Maira.

Armaan will lose his cool this time as he never expected Gitanjali to stoop so low that she will harm others through the actions of a child who trusts her.

With the competition coming to an end, Armaan decides to confront Gitanjali directly and asks her to return to Mount Abu.

Armaan tells Gitanjali that he does not want her around Maira anymore after what she has done that very same day which proves her vile intentions.

Gitanjali starts to lose her mind and reminds Armaan that she is his fiancé and Maira’s real mother for the past 4 years, but that does not change Armaan’s decision.

Armaan decides that he will break off their engagement so that Gitanjali is not tied with him and can move on in her life without fighting for other children.

This big decision by Armaan will serve as a turning point for Gitanjali's character as well the relationship between them which they cultivated for so many years.

Will Gitanjali's character also exit the show like Anshuman, making way for Abhira and Armaan’s reunion? Or is her character going to turn into an evil vamp villain in the show?
