Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is dealing with immense emotional turmoil involving Armaan and Abhira as they have met each other after the big wounds they have faced seven years ago.

Armaan is drowning in regret and self-hate after watching Abhira suffer so much because of his selfish actions but he still decides not to reveal anything to safeguard Maira.

Abhira does not wish to associate with Armaan even a little bit as she has got her heart crushed before when she witnessed Armaan proposing marriage to Gitanjali.

Armaan is now hearing about Anshuman coming into Abhira’s life as a new man and how Kaveri wishes to get them married for a slow and stable future for Abhira.

With Armaan’s repeated attempts to initiate a conversation with Abhira, Abhira’s annoyance is starting to take over her temper.

Another instance takes place where Armaan jumps in to save Abhira from the hands of some street thugs who try to misbehave against her.

Armaan loses his heart after Abhira denies their past connection 

After Armaan beats up those men, Abhira turns against Armaan and asks him who gave him the right to make decisions as the man of the house out of nowhere.

Abhira says that she can take care of herself full-well as she has done for the past seven years without Armaan poking his nose into everything.

Abhira also adds the final blow by saying that she does not consider Armaan anything other than a stranger at this point in their lives.

Armaan will break down into tears after hearing such a thing from Abhira, but proceeds to torment himself emotionally, even though this is all karma for his own actions from the past.

Will Armaan and Abhira’s emotional wounds ever get to recover with the flow of time?
