Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Gitanjali finds out the truth of Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) past and gets shocked because he betrayed his own wife

Star Plus’s show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is weaving a complex situation with the ongoing track between Armaan and Abhira with Maira entering both their lives. Viewers are loving the interactions between Abhira and Maira as they are literally carbon copies of each other with their similar behaviour and attitudes.

Armaan has hidden the truth of Maira’s true parentage and family from her her whole life, even though Maira has expressed her interest in knowing the reality. With no access to her real mother’s name or information, Maira has now started to consider Gitanjali her mother despite Armaan denying her from doing so.

Gitanjali also cares for Maira a lot and has hidden feelings for Armaan in her heart which will lead her to see Armaan’s reality very soon. Armaan and Gitanjali will go to a temple to pray for Maira and spot Maira with Abhira at the same place.

After Armaan stands still on seeing Abhira, Gitanjali also spots Maira and steps forward to talk to them but Armaan stops her from doing so. Gitanjali gets dragged away by Armaan which leaves her shocked as she cannot understand what Armaan is thinking.

Gitanjali finds out the shocking truth of Armaan's past actions

Armaan gets on his knees and apologises to Gitanjali for his strong demand about nor going after Maira currently while she is with Abhira. Gitanjali fails to understand Armaan’s reasoning after which he reveals that Abhira is his wife, whom he abandoned after taking away their daughter with him.

What will this shocking revelation from Armaan lead to in his relationship with Gitanjali in the present? Will Gitanjali decide to look past Armaan’s betrayal and crime for the sake of love?
