Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan (Rohit Purohit) lives happily with his new daughter Maira and wife Geetanjali after 7 years have passed

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has changed its entire storyline with the big time skip of 7 years, after which new storylines are shown revolving around Armaan and Abhira. Armaan’s new life has finally been revealed, where he is leading his life with his new wife and daughter.

A little girl named Maira has been introduced as the same age as Pookie, which hints at Armaan finding out Pookie in the past and moving away with her from Abhira and his family. Maira and Pookie also share the same birthday, which makes this theory even more believable for the viewers.

Armaan works as an RJ in a radio station and still acts rudely to everyone who dares to comment about her daughter. With his temper creeping in, Armaan is only concerned about his efforts for Maira and how he can keep his daughter happier with each passing day.

Armaan’s boss shouts at him for sleeping at his RJ job because of his personal reasons, as everyone has family and children of their own. However, Geetanjali becomes the one person who stands by Armaan’s side in this lonely battle as the new love interest introduced in the show.

Geetanjali advises Armaan to become a little relaxed in his fatherhood

Maira calls Geetanjali her mother, which indicates that she thinks Geetanjali is her real mother. We are still not completely sure whether Maira is actually Pookie, but as per the given hints, that seems to be the case. Armaan has deliberately lied to Maira about her mother and is living a favourable life with him being the only parental pillar in his daughter’s life.

Armaan and Geetanjali celebrate Maira’s seventh birthday, and Armaan surprises her with a big teddy bear. However, Armaan makes a big mistake of forgetting to bring the cake, after which Geetanjali helps Armaan to prepare it.

While Armaan is rude and stuck-up in nature, Geetanjali seems to ease up and relax in her behaviour as she asks Armaan to allow mistakes in his life so that he can correct them the next time. Is Maira Armaan’s pookie or Geetanjali’s daughter in reality? How did Armaan even meet Geetanjali in these seven years that have passed?
