YRKKH: OMG! Armaan rejects Poddar family's help in organising Pookie's baby shower (Upcoming Twist)

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai makers are brewing fresh drama for the viewers with the upcoming track of Armaan and Abhira’s new journey toward parenthood. Armaan has different plans for the future which will leave everyone in the Poddar family shocked.

With the fast forward time skip of 5 months in Ruhi’s pregnancy, Armaan and Abhira are getting ready to welcome their baby in a few months with the final trimester ongoing. Armaan will take the responsibility to arrange the function for Ruhi’s baby shower.

The Poddar family gathers to watch the house getting decorated in an extravagant manner, after which Abhira reveals her new idea to make the function even more interesting. Abhira suggests to Armaan that they celebrate a western version of the traditional Godh Bharai ritual as a modern baby shower event.

Armaan readily agrees to follow Abhira’s suggestion but turns down any help or suggestions from the family members as they try to offer. Sanjay says that one function should be enough for the baby, as a lot of money will be wasted because of such extravagance, which offends Armaan.

Poddar family stands disappointed watching Armaan's changed behaviour

Armaan replies savagely that he is ready to spend as much money as needed on his Pookie, as nothing spent on them is a waste in reality. Armaan declares that he is earning for his child only, and they should realise the pampering and love even before they arrive in this world.

Vidya dismisses the matter to avoid further arguments, but stands upset with Armaan commenting that he prefers to make all the arrangements by himself for his family. Abhira witnesses the whole situation and stands silently, as she cannot watch Armaan acting so selfishly toward others because of his anxiety.

Is Armaan going to separate himself completely from the Poddar family to protect his wife and child? How is Abhira going to show Armaan that he is acting like a selfish person toward the family members?
