In Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Maira's growing feelings for Kabir are set to bring destruction to her life, while Armaan blames Abhira for hiding Maira's mistakes.

As per the upcoming track, Maira is on cloud nine after learning Kabir does not love anyone else. She finally confesses her feelings to him, and Kabir too begins to develop affection for her. He even reaches the Poddar house to confess, but their moment fails. Eventually, Kabir expresses his affection towards Maira.

Engrossed in her new emotions, Maira ignores her studies and exams just to be with Kabir. She misses her exam and later regrets her actions, wondering how she could do this to herself. However, she hides the truth from Armaan and Abhira. Seeing her depressed, they assume she is upset because her exam did not go well.
