Dhadak Box Office Collection Day 1: Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's Dhadak breaks Student of The Year Record

And another Friday and yet another Hit...Dhadak has done it so well with the opening of 8.71 crores.

Dhadak, Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced Karan Johar's Dharma Production has finally hit the screen with a good collection.

Surprisingly, the film Dhadak wasn't really going houseful in Delhi NCR even though Director Shashank Khaitan has set it up North in Rajasthan.

The film's opening is the result of some very good marketing and promotional campaign that was run right through the making which resulted in audience interest been elevated with every passing week.

Just because the film starred Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, the audiences stepped in good numbers to give it a flying start.

The movie Dhadak has earned 8.71 crore which is more than the Karan Johar's Student Of The Year first day collection.

Dhadak sets a new target

The stage has now been set for a 30 crore weekend set to be comfortably surpassed, however, what would be truly amazing if the film goes past the 33 crore mark because then there could be no stopping it for at least a couple of weeks to come.
