Anupamaa Latest News: Fans see new hope to see Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) return in the show

Gaurav Khanna, who rose to immense stardom after playing the role of Anuj Kapadia in Star Plus’s TRP topper, Anupamaa, is now again in talks of returning to the show.

The actor made his exit from the show before Anupamaa took a 15-year leap and introduced a new storyline with new added characters.

Fans are still demanding to see Anuj come back in Anupamaa, which can turn into reality very soon.

Gaurav Khanna has talked about his role as Anuj Kapadia and the possibility of his return to Anupamaa in an interview with Pinkvilla. 

The actor said, “Anuj Kapadia, for me, is a comma; there’s no fullstop. Rajan Sir hasn’t killed the character. It’s just that there’s no space in the story for him. But it is Indian Television. Anyone can be alive, and there are many examples. However, that doesn’t mean that I’m coming back to the show. But never say never.”

This sparks a speculation about the possibility of the actor returning on-screen as Anuj Kapadia in Anupamaa, leaving the fans in hope. 

Anupamaa has slipped to the second place in the TRP chart after holding the first position for many years, which indicates that the old viewers are leaving the show. 

Many old characters have left the story, with the actors getting replaced, which has faded the magic of watching them earlier.

Gaurav Khanna also talked about fans seeing Manish Goel’s character, Raghav, as a replacement for Anuj in the future storyline. 

Gaurav stated in an interview with Siddharth Kanan, “People thought he replaced me, but it’s not true. I’ve seen Manish’s work before; he’s a senior actor, and I respect him… woh tabse hain jab main bhi nahi tha, unke shows dekhte the mere gharpe jo Zee pe aata tha. Social media can be harsh, but that’s life as an actor. You have to take it in stride.”

These statements from the actors can be interpreted as him returning as Anuj Kapadia if Rajan Shahi gives the green light with the story allowing it.

Gaurav Khanna created a lot of social buzz recently after he won the Celebrity Masterchef show starring other stars like Tejaswini Prakash, Faisal Sheikh, etc.
