Jhanak Latest News: Rishi (Arjit Taneja) stands shocked as the villagers demand him to marry Jhanak (Riya Sharma) after they spend a night together

Star Plus’s show Jhanak is ready to take a major turn in the story with Rishi and Jhanak’s fates getting interconnected with each other. Rishi’s visit to Jhanak’s village will turn into a total nightmare after the villagers demand him to get married to Jhanak.

Rishi and Jhanak spend an entire day looking around the village which starts a bond of friendship between them but the end of the day ruins everything for them. Jhanak gets stuck with Rishi because of the rain after which Rishi asks her to spend the night at his lodge in his room.

The next day, Rishi and Jhanak wake up to the loud knocks of the villagers on their door after which the villagers accuse Jhanak of marring their reputation by spending a night with Rishi. Rishi calmly explains that Jhanak only slept in his room because it was raining during the night, making it unsafe for a girl to walk through jungle alone. 

However, the villagers do not listen to any explanation and grab Jhanak and Rishi to get them outside so that a decision regarding their future can be made. Jhanak tells everyone desperately that Rishi has not done anything to her during her stay, which makes the crash out invalid.

Rishi shocked to hear Jhanak's suggestion of getting married

As the villagers conclude, they announce that Rishi needs to marry Jhanak according to the rules of their community which is the only way he can leave the village with his new wife. Rishi refuses to do any such things as he is already preparing to get married to Aditi back in Kolkata.

Jhanak sees the situation getting out of control and asks Rishi to accept the conditions of the villagers so that she can help him get out of there after sunset. Will Rishi and Jhanak be able to avert this crisis without getting hurt by the villagers?
