Jhanak Latest Spoiler: Rishi (Arjit Taneja) brings in a new plan to protect Jhanak (Riya Sharma) from his family's questions

Star Plus’s show Jhanak is starting a new chapter in its storyline with Rishi bringing Jhanak into his house and introducing her as their new maid.

Jhanak and Rishi were married to each other forcefully by the villagers, which caused so much stress for both of them involved.

However, Rishi is not ready to accept the marriage as a real one at any cost, as he already likes Aditi and is fixed to marry her soon in Kolkata.

With the duo arriving in Kolkata, Rishi lets Jhanak know that she can only stay with his family as a maid with no personal connections with him.

Jhanak agrees and enters the house as a village girl brought by Rishi because she wants to earn money by working in the city.

The family members of Rishi accept Jhanak as their housemaid with no issues and talk about her village and life after gathering.

Jhanak stands nervously while the others continue to question how difficult village life is compared to the city.

Jhanak gets saved by Rishi's information about her mother 

One of them comments about how girls from the village side get married very early, after which Rishi’s mother asks Jhanak how she got the permission to come so far away without getting married.

Rishi hears the question and steps in to save Jhanak by saying that Jhanak’s mother also lived in Kolkata and knows the place, which is why she was allowed to work here temporarily.
