Today's episode begins with Shobha telling Nandini that parents are not always wrong, but Nandini insists that parents are part of the family. Parth agrees, and suddenly Shobha asks about Parth, but Nandini quickly changes the topic.

Samaira thanks Nandini for handling last night's incident, while Garima brings Samaira and Raunak together. Vaishnavi worries about not seeing Tulsi in the house and discusses Samaira and Tripti with Shobha. Vaishnavi says maybe Tripti has changed, but Shobha replies that Tripti can never truly change, though she hopes for the best.

Sid is shocked to see Tulsi, and Tripti invites her inside. Tulsi suggests Sid should go in, as now the elders will talk. Tripti begins the conversation by offering to play chess, saying it is a different kind of enjoyment. She makes it clear that she didn't know Sid loved Samaira, but now Samaira is going to become her daughter-in-law. Tulsi responds that she knows Tripti can use her son to win.

Meanwhile, Karan complains to Nandini that Subhas called him, and he cannot refuse because Samaira has already decided to marry Sid. Nandini tries to make Karan understand that it's impossible to know everything about Sid beforehand, but since their daughter has chosen him, they must accept it. Karan says he cannot do anything if Samaira chooses to destroy herself.

Tripti tells Tulsi that if she thinks she will take revenge, she is mistaken. Tulsi surprisingly replies that she never mentioned revenge. Tripti warns Tulsi not to worry about her torturing Samaira, because sometimes daughters-in-law torture their mothers-in-law. Tulsi firmly replies that she does not torture she directly kills, just as she killed Ansh and later Parth, whenever she felt someone was dangerous for her family.

Tulsi challenges Tripti to save Shanti Niketan surely

Tripti asks Tulsi if she is trying to scare her, and Tulsi warns that she should indeed be scared if she has any bad intentions toward her family, because Tulsi does not torture but she kills directly.

The chess game between Tripti and Tulsi turns into a battle of words. Karan argues with Nandini about Samaira's decision, saying fate will take its course. Tripti tries to challenge Tulsi, claiming she can still kill her king in chess, but Tulsi shocks her by directly checkmating the king. Tulsi mocks Tripti for talking too much and advises her to concentrate on the game next time.
