Shivansh has declared his intention to divorce Prarthana, a mere night after he promised her eternal togetherness and she confessed her deep feelings for him. 

Prarthana is absolutely shattered, left reeling and unable to reconcile his loving promise with this sudden, brutal demand for separation. 

She is desperately trying to make sense of what went wrong, wandering through the house, crying out that she must meet Shivansh and will never allow this divorce to happen.

But before she can even process her pain, Sonalika, ever the meddler, steps in. 

She confronts Prarthana, flat-out telling her that from now on, she needs Sonalika's permission to even see Shivansh, let alone win him back.

Sonalika then chillingly asks Prarthana what she wants in exchange for walking away from Shivansh. 

In a powerful moment of defiance, Prarthana simply smiles and states that she wants nothing but Shivansh himself. 

No jewellery, no money, because Shivansh is Sonalika's most precious possession, and he is the only thing Prarthana desires. 

She makes it clear that she would never abandon her love for mere cash, proving her unwavering devotion.

The Mangalsutra Moment That Changed Everything

Later, when Shivansh returns home, the confrontation we all dreaded finally explodes.

Their argument quickly spirals out of control, and in a fit of rage, Shivansh cruelly tells Prarthana she is free to go and live with Ronak.

Prarthana is visibly distraught by this baseless accusation, questioning how he could possibly think of marriage as a joke or stoop to such a vile thought about her and Ronak. 

In a raw display of anger and despair, she unties her mangalsutra, the sacred symbol of their marriage, and thrusts it into Shivansh's hand before turning and walking out of the house.

Heartbreakingly, Shivansh remains trapped in his own misguided belief, still convinced that Prarthana is in love with Ronak.
