What is Coronavirus COVID-19

The disease COVID-19 is a respiratory illness infectious disease with symptoms such as cough, fever, difficulty in breathing, runny nose where it primarily spreads through contact with an infected person. Coronavirus is a deadliest virus disease as it is incurable which has drastically killed 74,807 people worldwide where 114 died in India.

Total 13, 47, 803 cases are confirmed worldwide while India has 4, 421 cases of Coronavirus patients.

Where this pandemic is not only taking the lives it is drastically affecting the economy of India after everything is shutdown and locked down to prevent coronavirus from spreading.

India Economy loses due to Coronavirus COVID-19

Former Reserve Bank of India governor Raghuram Rajan has revealed that how drastically the economy of India is falling down due to the pandemic and he calls it ‘Greatest Emergency’ in India which India has faced since Independence.

India is currently lockdown and the sudden stop across local businesses, companies, Bollywood film industry, TV industry the major economies could pull down GDP growth drastically.

Coronavirus COVID-19 a call of India’s economy destruction

With India’s 1.3 billion people locked down inside home in a bid to stop the coronavirus pandemic is turning out a emergency call for all of us.

The country’s financial capital Mumbai, which is the home to popular Hindi language cinema aka Bollywood has now become Coronavirus hotspot.

The expensive luxurious movie and shows sets are lying deserted and the filming of dozens of daily TV serials and shows and web series are all shutdown.

With movie halls, shopping malls, closed down, the Indian Film Industry is one of the biggest in the world that makes about 1,500 films a year and is one of the country’s largest employment generators is shutdown which is seriously a call for India’s economy destruction.

Bollywood lost approx. Rs. 1300 crore during the lockdown whereas more than 100 crores loss came to TV inudustry which is the earlier estimated loss during the first week of lockdown.

Now when India is facing so much economy loss, is this deadly COVID-19 virus only taking lives or it's actually a money eater?
