In a recent conversation, Rupali Ganguly candidly shared insights about the secretive casting process that led to Anuj's role and revealed intriguing details about their very first encounter.

Speaking with Telly Chakkar, Rupali recounted her first interaction with Gaurav Khanna, who plays Anuj.

She recalled, "There were various names being considered for Anuj, and Ketki (creative head) suggested a look test after my pack-up around 7:30 pm."

Rupali continued, "I didn't even realize he was on set.

DKP (Director’s Kut Productions) should be working for the CBI due to their secrecy. I usually pride myself on knowing everything, but not this time."

Describing the day she met Gaurav, she said, "I was filming a scene with Toshu, and Ketki didn't reveal who had arrived. I was also suggesting friends for the role.

Then she showed me Gaurav's photo. I hadn't seen his previous work, so I thought it was a different Gaurav. But his picture was polished and elegant."

Rupali fondly shared, "Then I heard his laughter before seeing him. He entered the set brimming with energy. The rest, as they say, is history - he became a national crush."
