Lock Upp Winner Munawar Faruqui takes home big fat trophy

ALT Balaji and MX Player Lock Upp has successfully completed the first season and last night host Kangana Ranaut announced this big fat winner of the first season and that is ‘Munawar Faruqui’.

Another contestant Payal Rohatgi became the first runner-up while Anjali Arora emerged as the second runner-up.

Payal Rohatgi gave a tough fight to Munawar Faruqui but ultimately the one who grabbed the trophy and chased the race turned out Munawar.

Munawar Faruqui received more than 18 lakh votes wherein he cracked an intriguing joke on his ex-contestants saying ‘Those who played Lock Upp like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii are out of the show while those who played it like Kasauti Zindagi Ki are the finalists’.

Meanwhile, he also took the dig at Payal calling her a perfect fit for the vamp role in daily soaps.

Kangana Ranaut congratulated Munawar Faruqui and gave him the trophy got emotional.
