In the Star Plus show Sayonee, Saanvi's life has completely changed after learning that Maya is her biological mother. Maya had abandoned her at an orphanage, yet she does not remember her own daughter. Instead, Maya has become increasingly hateful and arrogant, making Saanvi her constant target. She regularly humiliates her, questioning her character and helplessness while accusing her of trying to trap the men of the house.

As per the upcoming track, Saanvi gets furious when Maya insults Mataji after noticing that Saanvi's dress is torn. Maya cruelly comments that Mataji must have taught her how to attract the men of the house by wearing such tight clothes.

Unable to tolerate the insult, Saanvi defends Mataji. She replies that Mataji taught her good values and ethics. She further says that the dress was stitched by Mataji herself and is worth far more to her than any expensive brand. Saanvi warns Maya that she can say anything she wants to her, but she should never insult Mataji again.

Maya is left stunned when her husband Kabir goes against her and supports Saanvi. Kabir also warns Maya not to repeat such behaviour in the future.

Meanwhile, Saanvi feels hurt by Maya's repeated attacks on her character. However, Aditya stands up for Saanvi's self-respect, and she begins to develop a sense of trust and concern towards him after witnessing his kind gesture.
