Our dashing hero saw with his own eyes that Meera was delighted by the prospect of Anu marrying Neel. 

His anger boiled over so much that he nearly lost control. He was so enraged that he momentarily considered hitting her, but thankfully, Aryavardhan managed to suppress the impulse. 

The cold fury, however, was definitely building, and rather than start a scene, he retreated silently to his private cabin.

Meera, apparently oblivious or perhaps deliberately rubbing salt in the wound, followed him in. 

She dared to ask the big question, teasing him about the whole situation: "Sir, you will be joining Anu and Neel’s wedding, won't you?" That taunt proved to be the absolute final straw for the boss.

The Resignation Letter Scandal

Instead of answering her cheeky question, Aryavardhan shoved a resignation letter across the desk. 

He told Meera point-blank that her services were no longer required and that she should not return to the office starting tomorrow. 

He told her the company simply does not need her anymore.

Meera was stunned. "But Sir, why? What exactly did I do wrong?" she pleaded, but Aryavardhan did not hold back. 

He yelled, "You are interested in getting people married, so why would you need this job anyway?"

Then came the really shocking statements. He questioned her motives and her identity. Who is she, Meera? Are you Neel’s relative? Are you his family? Are you even his friend? 

If you are none of those things, who gave you the right to arrange the marriage and take complete responsibility for Neel, promising that he would keep Anu happy?

He questioned her authority to interfere so deeply in the personal lives of others.

The harsh tone shows just how deeply Aryavardhan is affected by the idea of Anu getting married. The final blow came when he accused her of malice. 

Did Meera secretly plot to arrange this marriage because she was jealous of Anu from the very beginning?
