Grab your tea because the drama in the household is boiling over. We all thought things were finally looking up for our favorite couple but a massive storm has just hit.
It seems the peace we saw recently was just the calm before a very big and very mean storm.
Dev has been walking on clouds lately. He genuinely believed that his mother Chandrika was starting to love Vasudha. After all the hard work Vasudha put in for the family it seemed only fair.
Dev even went as far as promising Vasudha that she would soon be honored as the main daughter in law of the house. Do you think Dev was being too hopeful.
It is hard to blame him for wanting peace in his home. However Chandrika had a very different plan hidden behind her fake smiles and kind words. She was just waiting for the right moment to strike and break their hearts.
The trap was set perfectly. Chandrika walked in with a stack of papers and a very serious look. Dev was totally convinced these were property documents meant to give Vasudha a secure future and a high status in the family.
He encouraged her to sign them without a second thought because he trusted his mother. But the moment the ink dried the truth came out in the worst way possible.
These were legal divorce papers. Imagine the look on Dev's face when he realized his own mother tricked them both so easily. Chandrika made it very clear that she might tolerate Vasudha as a helper or a good person but never as a member of the family tree.
A major plot twist is coming now because things are not going to be the same for anyone.
While Dev wants to fight for their love and stay together Vasudha has finally reached her breaking point. She refuses to stay in a house where she is not wanted by the elders.
She is choosing her own respect over a broken marriage and a mother in law who hates her. Vasudha is packing her bags and moving out to start a brand new life all by herself. This is a bold move that no one expected from her.
Will Dev find the courage to leave his mother's shadow and chase after his wife or is this the absolute end of their story.
