Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is entertaining its viewers with the new storyline after leap where Armaan and Abhira are struggling in their individual daily life with their own family supporting them. Abhira is still with Kaveri and Vidya while Armaan has got new people to accompany him and Maira.

Armaan loves Maira the most in his life and has been seen fighting and causing problems with others who have questioned his sentiment of being a father. Armaan is confident with him being a good parent to Maira and considers himself the best father his daughter can have.

After Armaan betrayed Abhira by taking Pookie for himself many years ago, Armaan has become a single dad for his daughter. However, even after trying his best to know Maira like his own friend, Armaan faces a big hurdle with Maira’s behaviour as she decides to trust Geetanjali more.

Maira runs away from her school for some reason and appears upset which starts to worry Armaan but he fails to know the reason behind the situation. Maira actually tells the reason to Geetanjali first after Armaan leaves the house which deeply saddens him.

Dadu's words about motherhood strikes a big realisation in Armaan

Armaan gets to know that Maira had broken her teacher’s scooter which is why she ran away from her school, after which he asks Maira why she did not share the truth with him first. Maira says that she just felt like saying the thing to Gitanjali first, leaving Armaan disappointed.

Dadu calls Armaan and gives him a reality check by revealing that he can never become Maira’s mother, even though he becomes the best father to her. Dadu talks about how mothers have a special connection with their daughters that cannot be replaced.

Armaan remembers Kaveri’s scoldings from the past which reprimanded him for always calling Pookie his daughter as Abhira is also her mother. Armaan starts to feel nervous as he realises that whatever he does is not enough to completely become everything for his daughter.
