Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan's selfish move for Pookie's name makes Abhira cry (Upcoming Twist)

Abhira and Armaan’s relationship to enter a shaky phase, with Armaan continuing to ignore Abhira’s presence in making plans for their parenthood journey. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai viewers will be left shocked as they will witness Armaan whipping out shortlisted names for Pookie during the baby shower function without involving Abhira in the process.

Abhira and Ruhi are surprised by a special surprise from Armaan as he announces a special event to celebrate their Pookie shower with the entire family. However, the surprise turns into a stabbing wound with Armaan bringing out some names that he has chosen for Pookie’s name.

Armaan asks all the family members to choose a name they wish to give to Pookie, and the name that gets the most votes will be finalised. Abhira silently cries as she cannot believe that Armaan decided to choose Pookie’s name without involving her in the process at all.

Abhira tries to talk to Armaan about his rash actions, but Armaan dismisses her attempts and continues to collect the chits containing the names. Seeing Armaan acting so nonchalant, Abhira’s heart shatters completely, and she is left alone with his thought of being ignored as Pookie’s mother.

Armaan rethinks his actions after watching Abhira's sadness

After the event gets over, Abhira confronts Armaan about his decision to finalise Pookie’s name by himself. Armaan brushes off Abhira’s anger and disappointment casually and says that he had no idea Abhira would get so upset because of his plans.

Armaan saves the situation by throwing away the chits and assuring Abhira that they will name Pookie what Abhira decides for them. Armaan jokes that he initiated the game to create an exciting atmosphere, and he could not think about making such an important decision without informing Abhira before.

However, Armaan tells himself that he succeeded in saving the situation by controlling Abhira’s anger, as he did not predict that Abhira’s reaction would be so bad because of his naming game. Has Armaan truly realised how he is ignoring Abhira and her part as Pookie’s mother? Or is Armaan changing into some different person with his crazy obsession with Pookie?
