Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has brought in a new setting in the story with the big time skip of 7 years after Armaan left Abhira with just a letter declaring his decision. Abhira’s transformation and life after the leap have been shocking, as no one expected to see such a change in the story.

Abhira is not living with the Poddar family anymore, nor is she living with the Goenkas after 7 years have passed. It has been revealed that Abhira has started her new life in a small neighbourhood with Vidya and Kaveri as her partners.

Vidya and Kaveri are living with Abhira in a small house, and the three ladies stay together to do their business of sarees while Abhira is a lawyer by profession. There has been no appearance of the Poddar family in their lives after the unexpected separation.

Vidya and Kaveri pamper Abhira like their own daughter and granddaughter, while Abhira also takes care of them as her closest family. Kaveri has become a fun and entertaining grandma over the years, with Vidya always trying to stop her mother-in-law from offending others with her straightforward answers to everything.

Abhira's isolation with new family changes the upcoming story

Abhira helps Vidya and Kaveri in their saree business while continuing her job as a lawyer, for which Vidya and Kaveri try to be as encouraging as possible. With the effort of saving every little penny, Abhira and Vidya have undergone a major change in their lives.

Kaveri still criticises the ways of living as a middle-class person, but does not leave Abhira and Vidya for some heavy reason that will be revealed further in the story. The new family of these three ladies will leave the viewers in shock after the first episode post-leap.

What incident caused Abhira to leave the Poddar mansion along with Vidya and Kaveri? Did the Poddars break their relationship with these three ladies, or is there another big twist in the story?
