Just when you think things might settle down, Mr Mittal enters the scene with his own agenda.

He hands over important papers regarding the Mittal case to Armaan just to gain his trust. However, behind the scenes, he is acting as a puppet master.

He secretly swaps the video, making sure Abhira cannot prove her point to Armaan. This leads to a massive blowout between the couple that leaves the entire family shaken.

The ripple effect of this tension hits the children the hardest. Myra is filled with so much bitterness toward Vaani that she refuses to let Abhira care for her even though Vaani is burning up with a high fever.

Myra goes as far as telling Vaani that she is the sole reason her parents are fighting all the time.

Feeling unwanted and deeply hurt, Vaani disappears into the night despite her illness. This sets off a frantic search that leads to a terrifying conclusion on the busy streets.

A Deadly High Speed Chase

Abhira manages to track down Vaani but she is not the only one following the girl. Meher is also on the road and she is blinded by a level of anger that is truly frightening.

When Meher sees Vaani, she does not hit the brakes. Instead, she pushes the accelerator, heading straight for the child with lethal intent.

Abhira spots the danger and jumps in front of the car to push Vaani out of harm way.

The impact is devastating and Abhira is thrown across the road. Meher does not stop to help. Instead, she covers her face and speeds away because she knows that if Armaan finds out she did this, her place in his life will be gone forever.

When Armaan reaches the spot, he finds Abhira lying in a pool of blood. It is a sight that will haunt him forever.

Abhira tries to tell him who was behind the wheel by pointing toward the departing car, but she loses consciousness before the words can come out. At the hospital, the situation is grim.

The doctors say she has lost a lot of blood and they cannot promise she will survive. Back home, the blame game begins.
