It all traces back to that horrific night of the fire incident which changed everything for Armaan and Abhira.

When the flames broke out Abhira risked her life to save little Vaani but this act of bravery became the very reason for her downfall in the eyes of her husband.

Armaan could not handle the fact that Abhira seemingly left Maira behind to save another child. In a fit of uncontrollable anger he accused her of being a heartless mother and physically pushed her out of the house.

He refused to listen to her side of the story or her desperate explanations. How could he turn so cold towards the woman he once loved.

Shadows Of The Past

Now that eight years have passed we see that Armaan has raised Maira with an overwhelming amount of affection.

He is so determined to make sure she never feels the absence of her mother that he has essentially spoiled her.

Even the grandmother is worried that this excessive pampering will backfire.

Armaan is adamant that Maira does not need to remember or miss the mother who supposedly left her to die. Meanwhile Abhira has been raising Vaani in a completely different world.

Both Armaan and Abhira are living in pain and though they are far apart they still secretly miss the connection they once shared. But will their pride ever let them admit it.

A massive plot twist is coming because the two sisters are destined to cross paths very soon. While Maira and Vaani were close as children the gap of eight years has created a wall of resentment.

The real shocker will be when Maira finally stands face to face with Abhira. She will not be looking for a hug or a reconciliation. Instead she is going to confront Abhira with a barrage of painful questions.

Maira has grown up believing her mother chose to leave her. Will Abhira be able to tell her the truth about that night. Will she reveal that it was actually Armaan who threw her out.
