YRKKH Latest News: Armaan exchanges rings with Gitanjali with engagement finished (Today Episode)

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Gitanjali get engaged to each other as they exchange new rings with marriage ahead

Star Plus’s show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is taking a major turn in the story with Armaan and Gitanjali deciding to marry each other because of Maira. Armaan goes through the engagement ceremony with Gitanjali through a small celebration which marks the beginning of their wedding preparations in the house.

Maira has always seen Gitanjali as someone similar to her mother and even starts to call her that until Armaan asks her not to do so. Armaan explains to Maira that Gitanjali is just their friend but then proceeds to refuse to let her know about Abhira who is her real mother.

Armaan’s silence only fuels Maira’s outburst later at the hospital, where she demands to have Gitanjali as her mother with Armaan marrying her as soon as possible. Armaan helplessly gives in to the demand as Maira is the most precious thing in his life and he can do anything to make her happy as a child.

After talking to Maira, Armaan proposes to Gitanjali for marriage but makes it clear that he is already in love with another person and cannot replace her with anyone, even if he wants to. Gitanjali surprisingly accepts Armaan’s conditions and they lock the deal to become legal parents of Maira in front of everyone.

Armaan unhappily follows the course of fate to get married to Gitanjali

After Maira recovers from her injuries, the engagement ceremony takes place and Armaan proceeds to follow the cue to push the selected ring into Gitanjali’s fingers. However, even in that moment, Armaan remembers Abhira from the past when he placed his gift of a ring into her finger with love.

Gitanjali notices Armaan’s gloomy state, but still does not stop or object to the function as she just wants to have a family with him, with Maira as their centre of the world. Will Armaan end up getting married to Gitanjali at last because of Maira or is there a twist in the story?
